Kristin Leitch is a graduate from the Permanent Makeup Academy and Clinic for the Microblading, Permanent Eyeliner and Microshading courses. In April 2019, she visited North Carolina for advanced training in soft shading eyeliner and Aquarelle Lip Blush from Mara Studio. Both Kristin and HeLa's Medical Director, Dr. Anne Marie Savoie, have medical training in cosmetic injections from APT Injection Training in Oakville, Ontario.
Kristin has Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training as required for an Echelon 2 level medical spa, outlined by the Canadian Association of Medical Spas and Aesthetic Surgeons.
She is a member of good standing in the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists, College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario, and is a Certified Clinical Anesthesia Assistant. It is under these governing bodies that she performs cosmetic injections under delegation and medical directives from Dr. Savoie.
HeLa operates out of a sterile environment. The studio has been inspected by the Ministry of Health and follows recommended infection control protocols.
All microblading and injection equipment is disposed of as per protocol and never reused.
All patient/client files are confidential and stored in a locked cabinet. Any patient/client can request to have their charts returned or destroyed.
All makeup tools are cleaned after each client use and soaked in anti bacterial wash. All mascara and lip wands are disposable and never used twice.
