FAQ’S

    • Spider veins & broken capillaries (cheeks, nose, chin)

    • Leg veins (small to moderate)

    • Rosacea-related redness

    • Vascular birthmarks & malformations

    • General facial redness that doesn’t respond to skincare

  • Yes. One of the strengths of DermaV is that it is safe for all skin tones, including higher Fitzpatrick skin types.

The system uses advanced cooling and precision targeting to protect the surrounding skin while treating the vessel itself, reducing the risk of pigment changes when properly assessed and treated.

  • You may be a good candidate if you:

    • Have visible facial or body redness or broken vessels

    • Experience persistent flushing or rosacea-related redness

    • Want a non-invasive option with minimal downtime

A consultation is essential. Some vascular concerns - such as larger or deeper varicose veins - require referral for medical vein treatment and are not appropriate for Derma-V.

Those who are pregnant, have active skin infections, or are on certain medications (like photosensitizing drugs or blood thinners) may need to postpone treatment.

A personalized consultation ensures your treatment is both safe and effective.

  • The treated vessels do not return, as they are safely collapsed and absorbed by the body.

However, new vessels can form over time due to genetics, sun exposure, hormones, or rosacea. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to keep results looking their best.

  • Most clients see noticeable improvement after just one session, but typically a series of 2 or more treatments spaced several weeks apart are recommended for optimal clearance of veins and redness.

  • Downtime is minimal. You may experience:

    • Temporary redness or warmth

    • Mild swelling in the treated area

These effects typically resolve within hours to a few days.

Most clients return to normal activities the same day, with guidance on sun protection and gentle skincare.
